jack white is one of my favorite people in the world. he is so influential and creative.
im sad that the white stripes are no longer. he is sticking to the dead weather, and this is gonna drop on their second album.

the city
so i saw twelve two nights ago and that movie is straight whack. i know those kids and they're weak.
white mike, ha! are you kidding me? kids clueless. but anyways it got me thinking about the city again. so much great music comes straight out of the city. its in another class.
montreal is an odd city. i know some goons and some mods some freaks and some poppers from montreal.
i know a couple cool kids too.
anyways this song comes from Wolf Parade who come from montreal. theyre a funky group and through the whining I kinda like the direction their headed. this live version kicks ass, theyre pretty sweet when they play live. its better than their cd, which is over produced and makes them sound like whiny bitches.

"I think its being thrown at the wolves, we call it our business" - Dick Van Dyke
What a gorgeous day in California and what an incredible morning it has been. While I have been sitting here at my desk in downtown San Luis Obispo getting all my shit done for the week, my eyes have continued to drift out to the street. College kids and their mothers taking care of "business" today, getting all their preparations in order for the weekend. Everyone is out and about, looking to buy something to ease their "pain". Look at their faces. People coming out of stores in better moods and with fuller bags. Fuck that. Feed me to the wolves.
But i haven't made any mistakes.. yet... today.
This song by Logan Lynn is pretty badass, while it has a very simple drum beat & synth, its got a lot more to it. This song is pretty deep, like the wounds youll experience when I feed you to my pack. Lynn is from Portland, where his grandmother was a vocal and piano instructor and taught the likes of Johnny Cash. His family has handed down their musical talents to Logan, who is currently on an extended break. Get back to business kid..
